(記者黃秀麗新北報導)為紀念原住民正名日，新北市政府原住民族行政局於7月22日在板橋火車站B1廣場、7月23日於淡水捷運廣場及淡水老街舉辦「Fangcalay ! 快閃!新北市 為原住民族日而唱!」快閃活動。由新世代的原住民青年用族語大聲宣告自己的族群及傳統姓名，也為7月30日於新莊體育場陽光草坪舉辦的「原住民族詩歌音樂會」活動進行暖身。
三場快閃活動，由30位來自不同族群的族人所組成，身穿傳統服飾，以原住民族傳統歌謠與舞蹈展現純真熱情的原住民族文化，體現原住民新世代對正名運動的支持及自身文化的重視。快閃成員中，有1對排灣族的姊妹，名字叫珠樂主兒久卡璐及伊蒂絲久卡璐，今年17歲及14歲，從出生就居住在北市。
「Fangcalay」 在阿美族語中代表意義是「美好的、美麗的」，作為此次快閃活動的口號，也希望喚醒各界對臺灣原住民族獨特美麗文化主體的認識與重視。(自立晚報2016/07/23)
